Our Story
Le Savoir Vivre was founded in the summer of 2024 in the Southern French village Valbonne, a stone’s throw from Grasse, the world’s perfume capital. Our founders’ vision was simple, create the world’s finest scented candles and perfumes in every respect of the word. Why? The scented candle and perfume industry is saturated with commercialism. Consumers pay 90% for the marketing, and 10% for the product. Despite a number of Maisons offering luxury products, Le Savoir focuses on the 1%, and not the masses. Artisanal, Limited, Hand Poured, and Crafted with love, we are a brand for the 1% utilising ingredients and essences not used by mass market brands. Our brand ethos is simple. Consistent, neutral, elegant, and luxurious in every setting.
Le Savoir Vivre is part of Maison Bahou a boutique luxury retail group based in France, our mission is to create natural, ethically sourced, and safe to burn and spray candles and perfumes adhering to French and EU health regulations. We also offer refills for many of our candles, an effort to create an environmentally conscious business and reduce waste and the need for our customers to purchase time and time again the same candle jars.
For our guests lucky enough to visit our little store in the heart of Valbonne Village, we offer in store candle refills for all brands. We ship worldwide where regulations permit.
